Never in my wildest dreams did I think this collab was at all possible, but here we are, in some incredible twist of fate and luck, all the stars seem to have aligned to make this happen. The universe really is a wonderful place sometimes.
​
This is truly going to be special, a one off experience, learning from and shooting alongside the incredibly talented Mari Trancoso in such a beautiful and majestic location.
​
Join us for 3 epic outdoor styled portfolio building shoots, a talk from Mari herself, some good food and magical views all spread over 3 days. (One full day and two half days).
​
We will touch on posing/prompting, use of light, sparking emotion in images and many more of the key ingredients you need to start creating your own cinematic masterpieces.

1 shoot led by me, 2 shoots led by Mari.

The chance to shoot along with me and Mari as well as direct part of the shoot yourself if comfortable.

Be inspired with an educational talk from Mari as well as time for any questions you might have for her.

Down time for Q&As, general chat and getting to know your peers.

FAQ'S​

Please note we will be shooting outdoors in any and every weather. Waterproof housing/case for your camera is essential.
The base for the workshop will be https://www.kingshousehotel.co.uk/ It is right in the heart of Glencoe. Just look at the photos!

Will there be accommodation?
The place the workshop is based at is a hotel. The easiest option would be to stay here. There are two different options. You can either book a hotel room or for a cheaper price book into the bunk house. Once booked onto the workshop I will set up a facebook group for all of the attendees. Here we can chat about room shares if anyone wants to go for that option. I recommend booking the accommodation asap after securing your ticket. I also recommend you book the bed and breakfast option whether you go for the hotel or bunk house. We want you well fed!

What if it rains? Is there a back up plan?
I selected this hotel as a base precisely because there is a chance it could be raining. If the weather is awful we can literally just walk outside of the hotel door and start shooting with the most beautiful back drop. If the weather is a little nicer we can venture out further. A full location recce will be done by me in October and the final plan will be shared with the attendees.

Will it still have a motherhood focus?
Motherhood won't be the only focus for this workshop. The main focus is cinematic story telling and connection exactly the way Mari does it. We are aiming to have one motherhood session, one family and one maternity couple. (All subject to availability).

Is the workshop 3 days long?
The workshop is spread over 3 days, however only one of the days is a full day. Due to the distance, the first day is just an arrival day, the second day will be a full day of shoots and learning and the third day will be a shoot before heading home. Full itinerary sent out to attendees.
